Two residents from Milton, NH have been charged with inattentive driving following an auto accident involving a school bus and two vehicles. The collision occurred on the Coastal Highway in Lincoln, New Hampshire on the morning of January 14, 2010. The two cars were unable to stop behind the bus in time, causing one vehicle to veer off the road and crash into the rear of the school bus as it was picking up students.
According to reports, a woman driving a Dodge Neon southbound behind the school bus failed to notice that the bus had stopped. She then broke suddenly, causing the car behind her to crash into the rear of the Dodge Neon, then veer off the roadway and into the back of the bus. Fortunately, no students were injured in this accident.
